About Salsa Buena :
Salsa Buena was born in 2008 after over a year of Shahid and Irene successfully teaching and performing together. As well as previously being successful Salsa teachers in their own right, they found that together they were able to offer students a unique fun and fantastic teaching experience. Classes are sociable, structured and explained clearly, with the added benefit of being taught together by a teaching and performing dance couple.
Their success together has been such that they are regularly booked to teach and perform at public, charitable and private events, some of the many highlights include performing Salsa at the Cardiff Urban Beach Volleyball Tournament at Cardiff Bay and teaching and performing at the Llandrindod Wells Salsa and Fitness Weekender, and Cardiff Multicultural Mela all to great acclaim.
Salsa Buena have also been featured in the South Wales Echo and in a BBC documentary. They were also approached to produce a beginners salsa DVD for worldwide release, this has completed filming and will be released shortly. |
